Answer - Article 62 - Article 62 of the Indian Constitution stipulates about the Vacancy in the President’s office can occur in any of the following ways: 1) On the expiry of his tenure of 5 years. Or By his resignation. 2) On his removal by the process of impeachment. 3) By his death. 4) An election to fill the vacancy must be held before the expiry of the term. 5) In the office fall vacant by resignation, removal, death or otherwise then election to fill the vacancy should be completed within 6 month from the date of the occurrence of such a vacancy. 6) The newly elected President remains in office for a full term of five years from the date he assumed charge of his office.
