Question - What could be the reason for the client application to be disconnected from the cache?

There could be two possible reasons:
Client-end- Redeployment of application
- Scaling operation by application
- Change in the client-side networking layer
- Transient errors in the client or network between the client and the server
- The crossing of bandwidth threshold limits
Server-end
- Azure Redis Cache service had a failover from the primary node to the secondary node
- The server instance where the cache was deployed had patching or maintenance
